Revamping SoulCycle’s Corporate Booking System To Streamline Corporate Sales

SoulCycle’s corporate group booking team was eager to improve its capacity to serve its growing requests for corporate group rides. Prior to SweatWorks’ engagement, SoulCycle was manually managing each corporate client’s request for group rides which wasted valuable time and money.

SweatWorks introduced a corporate management application with a custom portal for corporate bulk buyers which gave them the ability to manage their own events. This system was integrated with their proprietary booking system. Through the new portal, corporate clients can now book and manage their classes completely online without any manual intervention. SweatWorks was challenged to architecturally tie into their current corporate business, and to create and design an interface where a corporate executive could go on, buy bulk bikes, select location, and allow the spaces to fill. The portal is integrated with their current booking system and was the first project to be built on SoulCycle’s new Google Cloud Platform base architecture.

This engagement resulted in an substantial increase in additional corporate bookings across the nation, and more time back into the day for a busy, growing company.

Custom Bike Tablet

Designing an at-home tablet with soul.

Translating the brilliance of the SoulCycle brand into a tablet that would fit their custom designed bikes was a grand challenge that we took on with much excitement. The tablet needed to harmonize, complement and present the software interface with as much respect as framing an art piece.

We begun by taking a deep dive into all things SoulCycle. Brand, studio, bike and online visual language. Studying the visual language of the bike, tube shapes, color placement and material usage is what influenced the shape of the tablet. The singular, extended pill shape mirrors the tube shapes of the bike. The openings at top and bottom serve to cool the unit and project an amazing sound experience. The touches of brand yellow are incorporated to complement and energize the visual connection to the bike. Featured in the build is GymKit integration, Bluetooth connectivity as well as hidden VESA mount connection.
